No time today maybe tomorrow some attempt. My axles have the studs in the 5x5 pattern. Ill have to pull those out and stick a couple in the pattern for these. Hopefully I can get measurements and maybe the wheels stuck up there where I can tell. The big question: Do they fit?
Aren't you doing that backwards? Shouldn't it go under the other one.Well of course I haven't done much. I been lazy doing holiday stuff. But I have the axles out and I did get ahold of the machinist that is going to open the 1/2" holes to the 5/8" size for my studs. I have the new 5/8" stud kit here so that part should be easy. I did try and put a wheel on before I pulled the axles but I didnt have much luck by myself it was difficult to hold it up there and see but I think I am going to have to re do my brakes. The lip they welded on the wheel for the bead lock seems to be hitting my bracket. Ill know for sure when I get the correct studs in the axles. The machinist wasn't doing anything till after the holidays so that is on a stand still.
I did get a set of new sill plates from LMC for Christmas. They appear to be total China junk. They do not line up no matter how you try and put them together. Both sides are like these in this video I made. This is part number 38-2436 from LMC. This is the second item (headlight bezels was the first) I have got from them that I was not pleased with how they fit at all. Does anyone know where else sells these sill plates?
Hmm maybe you have a point let me go see......Aren't you doing that backwards? Shouldn't it go under the other one.
We actually already secured some wheel wells as we kind a figured this was going to be a issue. We are going to cut them down to just be what we need 2 or 3 inches deep if that. Haven't decided how I am going to mount them though. Could just leave enough of a lip to bolt them in or Dzus them. Or have my brother weld them. Guess we will cross that bridge when I get there.Add a 2" strip to the wheel well and push that lip deeper into the bed. Easy fix
