Baller 😂 76' C10 Cheap Toy

I watched your video here on the site.
Then I went to YouTube for something else and watched again. It said I was first to 👍!
You are on your way to a content creator. The checks will be rolling in!

Curious though, with the back bars so low in the bed, will it certify to 8.50?
Yeah my YouTube career is just excellent. :lmao: I actually just looked this morning and with the last few videos I've uploaded my views have shot up extremely high vs normal. One of the dumbest shorts was of the old ass vacuum gauge. It was a very short one and it was getting a lot of views.

Yes the bars were designed to meet the 8.50 Cert. Its fairly popular now days I see more and more with the bars similar to mine.

Thank you very much @Anthony67. This BOV you sent is very nice looking. Damn near new looking. Thank you very much.
Sadly due to work and a Friday evening cookout it will probably be Saturday evening before I get to try it. I promise to do a complete update as soon as I can get it on.

Also I did get the stupid $24 bushing yesterday that was supposedly going to fix mine. So I disassembled mine and I swear this new bushing is damn near as loose if not as loose as the one that is in it. I was going to mic them both and the stem that runs through them to see what they measure. I seriously have doubts that this new bushing is fixing anything. Typical for my garbage so I was already not getting my hopes to high.

Just busy at work this week making me dig graves late. Will try and post progress this weekend.

OK I am calling ProCharger and or Brute Speed Monday. Something is going on and I am at a loss.
1. I have plenty of manifold vacuum this has been verified with a gauge.
2. Plumbed directly into the manifold to the bov. See pic below.
3. I only have one vacuum line feeding the bov. Again see pic below.
4. I have no vacuum leaks tested multiple ways and have found zero leaks.
5. I have completely swapped bov and it acts the same exact way. No throttle it stays shut, touch the throttle and it opens releasing boost.
6. I have a manual boost gauge plumbed into the intake manifold. I cannot get it to read any boost.
7. The fuel regulator gauge will slightly bump up but its only like a single lb. or two when I slightly wack the throttle.
If I had hair to pull out I might.

I'm thinking there's a hole in the BOV

I'm thinking there's a hole in the BOV
Well this is the bov that @Anthony67 sent me. Its identical to the one I have except color. They have one hole for a air line a internal valve and diaphragm and the 6 screws that hold it on. This one is practically new. I just cant imagine that this one is doing the same exact thing. It makes me think its not the valve. But its only one freaking vacuum line and it only goes into the intake like I have it.

Just being an ass here. The bov is a hole..... with a valve.

you vacuum pump the valve and it opens?

then it works

Bov will be open wacking the throttle go drive it 🤷‍♂️

Any news?
Been working every day but in just a little while I am going to hunt for some solutions. I've spoken with ProCharger and several other folks about the situation. Its about all I can do while working is phone stuff. I feel I have it narrowed down to I don't have enough vacuum. The valve @Anthony67 sent works perfectly. My air line coming from the intake is perfect zero leaks on it.

So I am back to the engine. Maybe I have a vacuum leak? I will be really checking this today. Also I only have 24 degrees timing in it everything is locked no advancing or retarding. I'm not really sure what amount of vacuum my motor should be making but being is really a mild cam imho. So I think it should be making plenty if everything is as it should be. Then I got to thinking they wanted this cam installed at 118 we got it to 117.5 and closed it up. I'm no guru to the degree I would know how 118 vs a more typical 110 or 112 might effect vacuum. I've never installed one that high but I also never had a supercharged engine till now.

Anyway I know my old bov was bad but I also know I have a issue getting enough vacuum currently. I will figure it out I know the problem just have to find the cause.

hangin the valves open a tad? hydraulic roller or solid?
I have thought of this as a possibility. This cam was ground on a hydraulic profile and isn't that radical imho. I did have thoughts about me and my cylinder head guy having discussions about the spring pressures Lunati said to use. We both thought they were very light so I called and had them confirmed. I included the cam specs below. It says its Hydraulic but it was designed for me with this ProCharger running solid lifters.
I'd buy something like this and throw a vacuum gauge inline.
I didn't get a chance to work on it after all. Had some other things come up. I will try again tomorrow.

Whats the lash? stand bolts in the intake runner not sealed?

youll get it fixed
Lunati said .010 lash. I believe the intake bolts are sealed but I will be checking that as well.

Oh I will get it fixed is correct. It’s something stupid at this point.
