Baller 😂 76' C10 Cheap Toy

I was interrupted on my last post. Let me finish.

We have the main hoop bent and fitted. Both bars that go from the dash bar over the doors to the main hoop are bent as well. I don’t have pics of them but they came out really nice.

I’m all about a cage that fits the body and it makes for a bitch to build but the finished product looks great to me. Sure would be easier to run the dash bar in front of the dash and leave a nice gap for room to work on the main hoop etc.

Hopefully with the extra effort my bars wont be extremely noticeable like someone made a jungle gym inside my truck when completed.
 
Well the headliner is ordered, just need to wait for the installer to return from Florida in the spring.
Guess it's too cold for him up here in PA
 
Cage is finished with the exception of the front two bars and the seat belt tabs.
The bars out beside the motor we wanted to make sure clear the ProCharger. It is pretty big and we didn’t want issues. Im putting motor in and hanging the procharger on it then we will make sure the bars clear everything by making them afterwards.
The belts I bought for this truck ended up being used in the dragster so now the dragster belts I bought are going in my truck. I made a error thinking the dragster had bolt in style and it wasnt. So I just used my truck belts on it. Dont guess it matters but now he has to add tabs to bolt them in my truck.
For the record I am extremely happy with it. From almost any angle outside the truck you cannot tell there is a cage in it. I couldn’t get pics outside yet but I will. The welds are all very nice everything is within.01 or .02 degrees of dead on. That is unreal for my stuff. Anyway the guy killed it its great. 🥰
 
Picked up the truck today. Didn’t do a lot to it just cleaned up the new pipes and put some black paint on them to keep the rust away.
I did order a ATI bellhousing for my transmission. Also a precut midplate. Still a long way to go but slowly getting there.


 
I like the jungle gym...looks great! Congrats on things.

Yeah he did a great job getting a tight fit. Very pleased with the results. Just waiting on cylinder heads to be able to mock up the blower and get the front bars in.
While I wait I will start cleaning the inside of the cab and prep it for paint. Probably just have me and my brother do the paint Its not a show truck its a hotrod. Hopefully once it’s painted I can start putting pieces in there permanently. I can at least act like the guy with a lime green mustang. Not sure how to make procharger motor sound’s though. Might have to get him to do motor sounds since he has experience. 😂
