Baller 😂 76' C10 Cheap Toy

I should have given credit to Paul Jesionowski the guy who built it. He is the Owner-operator Machinist/tool maker. at SCS Performance Induction. He has been extremely understanding answering my million questions. He doesn't act like a smartass when he replies either. He genuinely explains things so a typical racer can understand. In case any of you are interested in having a real dedicated blow thru build or any carburetor work done. And his prices were extremely fair.

Well one more piece is in my possession. And I have to say it looks nice. Especially for my stuff.

Also I did message the fab guy and he says he is trying to get time to work me in. So all I can do is wait. Im sure at this point it will be January at the earliest.
The longer it takes the more I am gonna have him do while he has it. The list is getting longer.

Wow, that is very nice!

What is it though?

😁
I believe it started as a Bare BLP BX4 Billet 4150 Main Section. The baseplate is a AED Performance Pro Series baseplate I believe as well. Paul Jesionowski machines his own Annular Methanol boosters himself and machines the equalization ports and tubes to pressurize throttle shafts. The Boost Reference power valves are his own design/creation as well from my understanding. The metering blocks were once from Pro Systems called Venom II I believe. They were off a Alcohol carb a friend had and Paul converted to work for this application. And the Quick Fuel dual needle fuel bowels I stole off eBay for like $150 for the pair, normally $900 I couldn't believe I won the pair. I was thinking I misread the ad and it was for one or some stupid shit. But both showed up on good shape. All just to make a 820 CFM Methanol Blow Thru carb.

I may have found me a bracket for my blower. And I could have just got scammed :ROFLMAO:

I got tired of waiting and decided f it im ordering that bracket. Picked up the phone called ProCharger. Guess what no parts in stock and wont sell me one. I thought they made the stuff there. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway yeah wont be no new factory bracket for me.

So now im mad because I could have just ordered it back when I originally called them. But I didn’t know my fab guy situation was going to be turned upside down.

Any way I posted on 4 Groups on Facebook that I was looking for one. And a guy claiming to be from Sioux City messaged me and had the pics below. He swears they are for my D3 and a Big Block Chevy. It was cheap enough I took a shot. The best I can tell it looks correct but im just trying to count bolts and look at how it would mount in my head.

He says he is shipping it tomorrow so guess I’ll know next week if he mailed it.:lmao:

Call me crazy but that looks like an f3 bracket for a big block Chevy

And I don't know if he just didn't take a photo of them or what but he's missing the bolts, long bolts & the standoffs

Not calling ya crazy hell it may be for a F3. But this is what I had to look at. The older ones like mine were oil fed. I'll post pictures of mine with the Ford bracket and you can see the specific notch to clear the oil feed line. Then look at the pic of this new bracket and it has the cut out for the same oil feed line. I'm not positive but I don't think the self contained units had that notch cut out of the bracket. Also I had seen a picture of a old bracket (cant find pic now) and it had the same cut outs in the center of the bracket. I know it doesn't mean it is the exact one but I'm reaching here to make it what I need. :lmao:

He claimed his father was a hoarder and this was his stuff. Im guessing he passed away, I didnt ask. I figured/assumed spacers bolts and the like were probably not there or lost. I cant make a bracket worth a shit, but I can get bolts and can make some fine looking spacers. :larf:

You'll be able to make it work, maybe it's the right one maybe it's a little bit different but you'll be able to make it work
Exactly my thoughts. Me and my brother said its close enough we can modify it to work. That Ford one was just was too small. The bracket was so short it just wasn't long enough to get the blower away from the motor.

Just an FYI, McMaster has a lot of different lengths and sizes of spacers readily available and not super expensive. You might give them a look once you know what you need. It might save you some time and effort.

Very true. I have ordered many bolts from them. Sometimes at a killer good price. Thanks for the reminder. (y)

Well shit is going really slow on this project. Its been a minute so here is what is going on.

I got fucked over on the ProCharger bracket for those who didn't see the post on that here it is. Another FB Thief, Jon Roth
Next I am still waiting on the guy who did my cage to call so he can finish what is now turning into a laundry list of things I need his tig welding skills for. I did message him on the 29th and his reply was, "You're next." So that is a positive. It is better than not being next or any other number of responses. :larf:

And now I have been informed for like the 3rd time that the Ron Francis switch panel and the mounting enclosure ship date has been moved back to April. :pissed:So I just canceled them.

I started looking and think I like this ARC Switch Panel 3701

Which brings me back to that laundry list I mentioned earlier. These have to have tabs welded on so that is good and bad. I like it will be nice and clean looking but its just another thing to have to have the tig guy weld. :banghead: I was considering this Painless Performance Switch Panel 50303 also as I could mount it myself and have all the wiring done while waiting.

What do you guys think? Is there another company that makes a nice decent quality roll bar mount switch panel? I really liked the old school toggle switch look the Ron Francis switch panel had as this brings back the memories of my old cars. But as you can see by the two I am currently considering I'm not bound to that style switch. Not really sure if I like the new touch style switches or who even makes a quality panel out of them. Anyone want to throw their

in before I order one?
