65 Impala

was just wondering, really, if you ever contacted, Steve? He must have lines on all kinds of "donor" stuff......I believe he's in the Carolina's now, though. He had enough of NY....lol.

Should I buy the whole car for $1800 to get that factory tach.

No. That is not factory. The factory tach looks just like the manifold gauge but it is a tach. I'm not sure about it only being on 409 cars, from what I have read it was available on 396 cars as well. (y)

my bad, Lowrider....I mentioned it to NitroIke. Steve's a nice guy, if you want I can ask him about giving you his phone....

FWIW,,, my 65 Impala in high school, was a 396 - 4speed car, it had the factory tach in it.

Firewall is different on a factory AC car. Would make more sense to get an aftermarket setup that will be more efficient.

I'd do aftermarket before overpaying for factory crap that needs all rebuilt. Plus they are cleaner looking without the big heater box under the hood.
Plus the aftermarket systems leave much more room to work, especially when you do a big block swap. #8 plug is always a pain on 60s GM cars with AC.

it'd be cool even with a straight 6.

Bitch looks better with the headlights and trim.

Washed the good side.
Damn, it's way too high, needs to come down in the weeds.

Just me, but I prefer the more stock looking stance. Looks great. Take care. Tom Worthington
