Woes with a 2004.5 LLY Dmax repeated P0089 Fuel pressure regulator codes.

I can flash every module in a GM vehicle in under an hour with TLC, was about the same with TIS. Less if I don't have to do a vats relearn. I bought my Drew interface from a guy that couldn't figure it out, basically gave it away for 500 bucks. A wanted ad on Craigslist works lol. I make on average $150+ per vehicle I flash, so it is good money. I charge less than the dealer and do it on site. With my hours getting cut back at my regular job, it's the only reason I'm surviving.

Interesting, makes me wonder if those of you who aren't under a dealer roof get a watered down version of TLC. Do you get SI (service info) or VIS (vin history)? You stole that Drew!!

That's a decent price to charge, we usually got an hour flat rate which was a homerun back when TIS was still active. But if it was warranty, many if not most were only .3 or .4 talk about getting hosed:facepalm:

I wish you were closer, I'd love to turn my AMF off.

Pretty sure there is a dongle available that is plug & play that will disable it and then return to normal when removed.

When you access per VIN for SPS, you get none of the good stuff like that. I haven't tried diagnostic access since the changeover, so I don't know what is available now. I think GM wanted to be able to track aftermarket programming, hence the switch.

I'd use HP tuners for that, if I head south of the Mason Dixon this year I'll give you a heads up.

What's that saying about 'if you have that much trouble trusting everyone, you can't be trusted yourself '?

With those record breaking billions in profit every quarter, they don't want anyone to know how they really get it. One of their many tactics is make sure they have full control of everything...just like the admin and company in DC.

Oh...wait a min...aren't they now "Gov Motors"

Fired it up today 61 degrees. No codes. No codes in history.
Was able to change fuel with the Snap-on solus and noticed a difference as I changed it up or down,

Maybe it is temp related, hmmm
I will try when it is cold again, temps are supposed to drop into the 30's in a couple days.

After it sits overnight, get the key on engine off values for IAT and ECT. Report back with your findings. If it has fuel temp, get that value as well.

Thinking so today's starting and not throwing any code rules out air getting in the fuel system.
No code and no hiccup that I usually hear when it first starts and throws the code.

Fuel viscosity is still in the back of my mind. For sure like SRGN asked get the ECT and IAT first thing in the am when its still cold and before starting. In case it spikes the fuel again, be ready with that Solus to try and adjust the fuel up or down>>>while its acting up with the 11K pressure. Desired fuel pressure reading would be good to know too while its acting up.

Yup, log desired vs actual. I'm wondering if the ECM is trying to use the fuel strategy for the wrong temperature. Get map and baro readings too, could be using the wrong air density calculation.

Shit I was going my pics I took the other, some didn't come out for shit but this one did.

DES FRP 49 ACT FRP 1
Pretty sure this was the first start on a cold morning and fuel pressure was 11k

Is that running? Looks like its not with 0 rpm and only 1 mpa actual frp which is only 145 psi. Where did you read the 11000K? Same place @ Actual FRP (MPA) ?

At least someone's paying attention around here, it might have been when you guys asked for KOEO readings
Disregard. It got down to 27 here last night, if I will try to get the reading asked for above.
