I need recommendations for a wiring harness.
My car is an old 71 Chevelle street rod .

When I got it someone had already removed the AC and butchered the dash wiring.
Thru the years with dry rotting, mice, etc. It need new wires.

All of the ones online have too many accessories for what I need. Mine needs to be basic.

Headlights
Taillights
Brake lights
Signals
Alternator ( 1 wire internal regulator)
Fuel pump
Ignition
Wipers
Extra cooling fan
Lights for my gauges/ tach

Very minimal

Thanks

I would consider buying one of those universal harnesses. Not 'Painless' or other overpriced but just a basic one. It's been long enough, I don't know what to recommend, you know, chineseoizationized and that changes, all the time.

That's pretty basic. I'd consider building a kit yourself...based off of watching YouTube videos. I think Freiburger did one on his 30s drag car.

I had a Ron Francis kit that I got NIB and cheap. I thought it was helpful because it was user friendly for someone who had never wired a car before. When I was done, and understood how it all went together I thought, I could have done this without a kit.

I built battery cables with welding machine wire and crimped ends, and was happy with the price and quality.

I have ai
The last 2 cars I built,I just wired from scratch. Best way to get the fit and only what you need.

I have wiring experience with industrial machines CNC , house electrical, and 3 hose wiring , plus industrial .

With the complete wiring do you just get a fuse block, couple of rolls of wire , use quality ends with a good crimper, and mark wire with sleeve markers?

I usually make out a ladder diagram for everything I wire for future work.

Let me know about the fuse block.

Thanks
